The leading Application Service Provider (ASP), needed a way to manage clients for their Enterprise Messaging Business Unit. They provided multiple clients with a variety of applications, on disparate platforms. Since the ASP industry was new, no single tool existed to aggregate billing, licensing, usage tracking, administration and other relevant metrics.

In response to this need, Digital Rainmaker developed the Enterprise Messaging Client Center. The first tool of its kind, the Client Center represented the rapid innovation of the combined client/DRI team. Not only did DRI develop the tool on budget and ahead of time; the innovation extended beyond the tool itself.

Digital Rainmaker wrote all system documentation for deployment and installation in accordance with the client's ISO-9001 certification. In addition, DRI wrote both the user manual for Clients, Administrators, and diagnostic procedures for help desk personnel.

By taking a disciplined yet creative approach to software development, DRI developed a tool quickly and effectively.

When a large DoD organization needed to implement an internet firewall. Digital Rainmaker, Inc. helped make it happen. Using a Rapid Application Development (RAD) Methodology, we developed a web-based intranet application to gather requirements from numerous internal customers. The development tool...Cold Fusion. The database...Oracle. The requirements system...on time and on target.

 

   
ERM View Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Pilot

Implementing an CRM system can cost millions of dollars. Such a system also mandates a significant cultural shift for the customer and marketing professionals who feed data into the system. Instead of implementing a full blown CRM, we helped our client determine their capabilities and priorities. Then we built a web-based pilot application that tracked input from their customer and marketing people. This smaller scale project not only helps clients make the cultural shift required to make CRM a success, it also helps them make a better final selection when they do decide to go beyond the pilot stage.

OWA   Microsoft Outlook Web Access Training

A client needed to provide training for MS Outlook Web Access 2000 (OWA) to a customer. The Product was so new, there was no electronic training available (not even from Microsoft itself). There was also a quick deadline for delivery. Digital Rainmaker wrote, developed, and deployed the on-line training within a month. Even in the thick of an approaching deadline we had the forethought to build a reusable, AICC Compliant interface that would allow for future training developments. AICC Compliant Interfaces can be easily integrated with Learning Management Systems like IBM's Learningspace.

The six chapters of training was created in Macromedia Flash and designed to plug into the IBM Learningspace environment. Our client needed the project done on a short time-frame. DRI delivered a ground breaking product for less than the licensing of outsourced training (if it were even available).

Naval Aviation - Technology and Teamwork Naval Aviation - Technology and Teamwork

The Patuxent Partnership wanted an instructional documentary for people who were unfamiliar with Naval Aviation's past and present. Naval Aviation - Technology and Teamwork, was the resulting TV program. Designed for 30 minute broadcast format, the program featured past and present Naval Aviators, Executives, and Historians. A mix of exciting modern video was juxtaposed against historical footage and photographs.

   
ATT GM Series AT&T Wireless - GM Series DVD

AT&T Wireless wanted to have an exciting and unique way to review a sucessful year and build morale. Digital Rainmaker created a video slideshow capturing the year in images. The final product included hundreds of event photographs was delivered on DVD and VHS. The video (and the meeting) were a big hit.
